Voices From The Communities We Serve.
The Rotary Club of Kololo-Kampala conducted a health camp Kinoni Health Centre IV in partnership with the Rotary Clubs of Bukoto, Kiwatule, Kampala Sunday Sunset, Mbarara, and Ntungamo and with the help of the Parliament of Uganda. This happened on two days, 15th and 16th of July 2022.
This experience gave Scovia a new lease of life, as she says in her own words:
“I am Scovia from Karora in Rwampara. I have been completely blind and not able to see anything. I was using a cane and being led by this daughter here.
When I heard the announcement of this health camp by Kankunda, my daughter insisted and brought me here.
Now I can see very well from my eye that was worked on yesterday. Today they worked on the second eye. I am so happy and grateful to you people. May God bless you”
